Moffsoft FreeCalc is a small footprint freeware application that aims to be a replacement for the calculator application that comes shipped with Windows; and adds some really useful features. FreeCalc describes itself as "…In addition to basic calculator functions, Moffsoft FreeCalc has a printable/savable history tape, a sizeable display, double and triple zero keys, color schemes, a system tray icon option, international support for digit grouping, and more".

The history tape is a really handy feature as it allows you to scroll through the calculations so far – for those times when the final result does not come to the value you might have expected. The size of the window, including the buttons, is scalable so can be resized to suit your display requirements – particularly handy if the standard buttons are a little on the small side.
