Free Online: PBwiki

Collaboration on projects can be greatly improved through the adoption of a Wiki. There are a number to choose from but one in particular I have been looking at is PBwiki. PBwiki describes itself as “…the world’s leading provider of hosted collaboration solutions for businesses and education” and offers a number of service options including a free service for 1-3 users. A Wiki allows information to be created, reviewed, collaborated, revised and shared.

Getting started with PBwiki is as simple as obtaining an account and editing the default page. New pages can be added quickly and easily and the sidebar customised as required. Access controls can be set defining who can do what. One of the most useful features of a Wiki is the history and audit trail allowing you to dig deeper into changes that may have been made an reverting to earlier revisions of documents as necessary. A whole raft of features can be viewed at http://pbwiki.com/features.wiki.

Regular webinars are run to help bring you quickly up to speed with the service.

PBwiki can be found at PBwiki.com
