Waterslide home with your iPhone

Have you seen the Barclaycard advert with the guy who water slides home and using his contact-less payment technology on the way?

Barclaycard have followed that stream of thought with a free iPhone application (via the Apple Store or iTunes) called “Extreme Waterslide”, developed by fishlabs and Dare – it looks pretty neat so if you have an iPhone you can be on the crest of the wave guiding your character down the waterslide whilst avoiding the inevitable obstacles using the tilt feature of the iPhone. The further you get the more points you get.

Choose your male or female character and head off as the game is set over a nine tricky stages as you navigate your way across the 3D city collecting points, speed boosts, invincibility, and bonus lives – it’s a fun game as you can see in the video clip.

Paul Troy, Head of Advertising and Sponsorship at Barclaycard, said: "The launch of the iPhone game demonstrates Barclaycard’s commitment to innovation. This is the first time that a financial services company has developed a mobile game that can be downloaded on to an iPhone or iTouch and it allows our customers to have fun whilst on the move. The game will bring life to the latest advertising campaign that hits the screens in July.
