Samsung GALAXY Tab To Come Of Age In Version 3?
Amongst the other tablet news from Samsung (ATIV 3 and S4) it might be easy to miss the news about the soon to be released GALAXY Tab 3 which, hopefully, will see Samsung’s increasingly popular tablet finally come of age.
TechCrunch are reporting US pre-order availability of the Tab 3 tablets will commence 25th June 2013. The only difficulty is going to be knowing just which GALAXY Tab 3 to get as there are a number of versions being released: a 7 inch model at $199, an 8 inch model at $299, and an iPad challenging 10 inch model at $399.
The 10 inch model features a 1280 x 800 display which, whilst not quite Full HD, is backed up by a pretty astonishing 6800 mAh battery, 1.6 GHz Dual Core processor, and will also feature TV Out and a smart remote.
Both the 10 and 8 inch versions will utilise Android 4.2 whilst the 7 inch tablet will run Android 4.1. Interestingly, only the 7 and 8 inch models currently appear on the Samsung US website.
