In The Box: Otterbox  Defender Series with iON Intelligence iPhone 4/4S Case

Otterbox Defender Series with iON Intelligence iPhone 4/4S Case

The Defender case itself comes in three main parts: a hard plastic back shell, which cradles the iPhone (it also houses its own battery), a front cover shell which clips over the back case (and incorporates a screen protector), and a silicone like outer skin which keeps everything in order and offers some impact protection. A micro USB cable is also included, for charging the battery, so if you need to use any of your iPhone accessories you are going have to take the iPhone out of its case first. The case is supported by a free app which can be downloaded from the Apple iTunes App store.

The current charge level of the battery in the case can be checked by pressing the long thin button under the row of ten LED lights at the bottom front of the case. When all ten LEDs are lit the case is fully charged.

The case can be charged using a spare USB port on a computer but it may be quicker to use a USB mains adapter.
