Do your intended users typically pay for an app up front? Or do they stick to free apps and use in-app purchases?
We took the decision to put the app on the app store for free so the only potential revenue stream would in-app advertising. Revenue for advertising is pretty small so to be of any real value it relied on a great deal of app downloads and usage.
We could have set a small fee (69p in the UK) for the First Aid Quiz app – would this have encourage sales or prevented downloads?
