I am a full time blogger and technology writer and as such my primary source of income is from my blogging and writing activities. Jason Slater Technology Blog is owned by Micromicon Media Limited of which Jason Slater is the Managing Director. I setup Micromicon Media in 2010 in order to bring my various online activities under one banner.

When I talk about products or services on this site I  prefer to write about things I have seen and experienced and the opinions expressed are my own. In order to form opinions on products and services I either purchase the item or I am sent samples. Many of these samples are returned at the end of the review process however some are retained either because the cost of return would be too high or, particularly in the case of online services or electronic media, in order that I can further write about my experiences using them.

I write about a broad range of technology areas and I am often approached by companies who ask me to help them raise awareness about their products or services. However, I only follow up on those requests that I believe add some real value and benefit to the technology areas discussed on the site.
