I know how Monk feels – it’s hard saying goodbye to a piece of kit. I have a number of LP2000R’s that have done their time and performed well but I can’t quite build the nerve to decommission them. One is still on active duty with Exchange 2000 and GFI Mail Archiver and its a great work-horse, another is acting Terminal Server for Production and Remote Staff who need access only to our ERP. I know I have replacement kit in the guise of DL380 and they are already in active use but these dear old servers – well – I just hate throwing anything away but room is getting tight in our little room.
