Google Maps Re-Ordering Problem In Internet Explorer
A handy feature of Google Maps is the destination re-ordering feature which allows you to re-arrange your destination points by drag and dropping. When adding destinations simply click and drag over the green circles labelled A, B, C, etc (as shown in the image below) and drag them up or down as required (the pointer should turn into a little hand symbol).
This re-ordering allows for much quicker planning of multi-destination route planning however it does not always work consistently in Internet Explorer 6. When the problem occurs it is normally accompanied by the Loading… message at the top of Internet Explorer which stays at the top of the screen.
One of the ways of getting round this problem is to delete temporary internet files by going into the browser, then selecting Tools, Internet Options, Delete Files. You will need to restart the browser after clearing out the old files.
