Online Television Service SeeSaw Launches

Today, February 17th 2010, sees the launch of the hotly anticipated online television service SeeSaw. If you are familiar with the BBC iPlayer you should feel right at home with the simple, clutter free, SeeSaw interface which has a similar look and feel.

SeeSaw combines television viewing from a number of previously broadcast channels and currently includes content from 4 on Demand, Five, and BBC.

A number of categories of viewing are available including Comedy, Drama, Factual, Lifestyle, Entertainment and Sport. There is already a large range of viewing available, but some of the essential viewing programmes available on SeeSaw include:

  • The Inbetweeners – hilarious sitcom about the middle ground in growing up
  • Hustle – “The con is on”
  • Classic Doctor Who: Episodes from 1965to 1989 Including favourite episode “Mark Of the Rani” and “The Talons of Weng-Chiang”
  • The Gadget Show
  • Spaced
  • The Young Ones – 12 rip roaring episodes
  • Blue Planet
  • The IT Crowd – Series 1 to Series 3
  • The Apprentice – “You’re fired”
  • Grand Design – a whopping 68 episodes
