Echelon Conspiracy is a fast paced techno-thriller that delivers action by the truck load, starring Shane West, and with some big supporting names including Martin Sheen, Ving Rhames, and Jonathan Pryce.

The movie follows Max Peterson (Shane West) who gets receives a mobile phone whilst on a business trip. Upon switching the mobile phone on he receives a text message telling him not to board a plane – which is fortunate for him as the plane crashes just after take off. At this point you might just sigh a relief and hand the phone into the authorities. However, Max receives more messages with each one offering something more tempting, from stocks and shares to big casino wins – is someone watching out for him or has Max been caught up in a larger conspiracy?
Soon, Max gets caught up in a conspiracy and is chased around the globe by the casino security, hit men, and the CIA. The CIA initially believe Max is playing a bigger part in the conspiracy, with his ties to computer security systems, but they soon discover that Max is not the first person to receive a mobile phone, or promises of riches, in this way but everyone who has been involved so far has ended up dead – the only thing that is for sure is that the US government secret security system “Echelon” has been compromised and is being used against its primary purpose.
The Echelon has access to every data stream on the planet and it is only a matter of time until Max discovers his shocking purpose. Max and the head of the casino security form unusual allies as the race is on to discover exactly who, or what, Echelon is and stop it before time runs out for Max.
Echelon Conspiracy is a fast paced thriller that should keep you guessing to the very end.
