According to a US Patent Application (filed May 20, 2011), titled “Event Augmentation With Real-Time Information”, Microsoft is working on a technology similar to that expected to result from Google Glass.
It looks as if Google is pushing ahead plans with its Google Glass project although it’s unlikely there’ll be a consumer available version before 2014.
Microsoft’s last solid base is Microsoft Office and Google have it in their sights.
